Today i cried a lot ....no..not b'coz i'm leaving tomorrow...but coz I saw FANAA.....
Yes! I saw fanaa that too in theatre...yeah i know I don't go to theatres & neither do I watch much of the movies... but after VEERZAARA...this was the movie which caught my attention & dragged me to a theatre that too a local one not even IMAX coz in prasads there was no booking for another one week and we had to see the movie today it self and by now it had bcom a part of my treat & I thot there cudn't be a cheaper treat for my brothers & sisters....(but ofcourse after treating them in Pizza Hut)...yeah I know the world is going in opposite direction ...u don't get farewells ...U' ve to treat when U 're going away ( kya karein Kalyug hai).And I never knew that I wud 've to do all this jus one day b4 i leave India...I STOOD IN THE LINE TO BUY TICKETS phew.wait it doesn't ends there...stood in the que for almost fifteen minutes...then the counter opened with only one man giving out tickets to both the ques of ladies and gents...a guy came up to me asking to buy three tickets for him(I accepted without knowing that only two tickets r given per person) and now I had a total of eight tickets to buy...waiting for my turn to come i was looking arround and thinking ..Oh my gosh m I going to watch the movie with all these ppl arround me hearing them shouting "hum ko bhi ticket do, Hum bhi jab se line mein khade hein ,kya poore ladies ko hi de denge...and this guy shouting from here ..Pehle ladies ko do...as i was suppose to buy his tickets. Finally reaching the counter I asked the man for eight tickets, he with a wierd stare and annoying tone said,'only two tickets per head madam'on hearings this i quickly excluded the guy's three tickets and asked for my five tickets.He not agreeing for It and I cudn't be able to think of anything else asked my sis who was standing beside me but out of the que to get into the que and pointing at her I told shes with me so now atleast gimme five tickets.He stared rite into my eyses for few secs ofcourse coz rest of my face was covered finally agreed to gimme five ticket meanwhile another man shouted at my sis to get out of the line she got real wild and was heading to fight with him saying ,'How dare he speaks to me like that'and I had to stop her saying, 'leave him Madiha he doesn't know its U'.Oh my gosh it was a scene there! now looking at the tickets i cud find only 4 going back to the couter I told him,'Sir u gave me only 4 tickets'..but when he counted it (oops) there were 5.then he told ,'Pehli baar tickets khareed rahein hein shayed' guess I made it obvious. Coming to the movie now..I liked it rite from the begining as it starts with one of my favorite songs..SARE JAHAN SE ACHCHA HINDUSTAN HAMARA....the song which we used to sing on every Independence & Republic Day & on Allama Iqbal's B'day...which we used to celebrate very year in my school back in Jeddah with extreme patriotism. Patriotism ..is the word which i felt I 'd being loosing during these 9 year stay in india....which suddenly aroused after hearing the song and seeing Indian flag..u guys won't believe what I did...I stood up sluting till the song went on ..RITE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE THEATRE...and u know what I still remember the whole song...which I bet to my those frendz who used to call me NRI---Non Reliable Indian...that they must not be knowing even half of it, or any other patriotic song...I'm pointing more to Vin and less to Vicks & not at all to Ren here!(coz she knows why I'm going) & to u guys I still love my country and everything about it...but i 've to leave...thats totally a different issue...heres a song which I had written and even sang on 15th August when I was in 10th standard i.e in 1993.

Now coming back to the movie...what else I liked about it ...hmm yes i visited Kashmir and Delhi, The places I always wanted to see but cudn't (so its not only blind ppl who r less fortunate).Anyways theres always a next time so when I come back to India next time Insha Allah i wud come via Delhi. i love the first half of the movie as it was very entertaining as most of the conversation between Amir & Kajol was in couplets which was not seen in the second half.Songs were great specially Chand sifarish & Mere haath mein tera haat ho. Another think that took me away was the rivival of my favorite songs

Now what I didn't like about the movie???
I didn't like the muslim culture they have shown in the movie...Zooni & her muslim friends moving around without duppatta,performing on the stage,going around with a stranger to the extend of sleeping with him ,Rehan born out of wedlock,singing & dancing around with an starnger Captain Ranjeev Singh, Zulfi boozing
etc,ect... which is so much unlike our culture...though I do not deny the fact the such families do exists...But I thank God that i 've not known any of such families!
Movie ends with Zooni in the graveyard(again which is not allowed in Islam)repeating her father's statement in the begining of the movie...a very nice one indeed.
Sahi aur ghalath ke beech faisla karna aasaan hai lekin do sahi raastoun ke beech behtar chuna aur do ghalath raastoun ke beech munasib chunna bahut mushkil...
But I feel that at times we human are in such situations where it becomes difficult to decide ( faisla karna hi mushkil hojata hai) so what do we do then.And whose to decide what is BEHTAR & MUNASIB? In such situtions leave everything to GOD...atleast thatz exacly what I'm doing...and ( jab koe raasta samajh mein na aaye )jus' go the way life takes u to..coz life goes on...and b4 i leave I wud like to conclude with a couplet from the movie itself... & its for all my friends & foes & family!
